Elizabeth Giardina is Vice President of Design at Derek Lam 10 Crosby, and has been with the collection since its inception in November 2011. Alongside Derek Lam, Giardina has created the concept, attitude, and aesthetic for the contemporary diffusion line. She is responsible for the design direction of the ready-to-wear collection, as well as overseeing the aesthetic cohesion of accessory collections; licenses products; and special collaborations with other brands. Within three years, Derek Lam 10 Crosby opened its flagship store in Soho in November 2014, and is carried in many luxury retail locations nation-wide such as Barneys New York, Bergdorf Goodman, Neiman Marcus, Saks Fifth Avenue, and Intermix.
Before joining Derek Lam 10 Crosby, Giardina was head designer for Halston, where she worked with Marco Zanini, Marios Schwab, and Jeff Mashie and was responsible for creating the Halston Heritage collection. Her fashion career began with stints at Polo Ralph Lauren and Zac Posen.
Specializing in high level communications, business strategy, ideation and consulting, Reshma's quick wit and unparalleled work ethic make her invaluable to the companies she helps start and grow. Her knowledge and experience from co-founding and operating 2 tech businesses, has gotten her nationally recognized as an influencer and expert in her field of business and design. Reshma frequently speaks at numerous events around the US, including Columbia University, SCION Motivator and SIUE Carbondale’s Design Days and she is currently a mentor for Grand Central Tech in NYC.
Bonnie Roy, PLA, AICP, is a partner with SWT Design, a planning, urban design, and landscape architecture practice headquartered in St. Louis, MO. She holds a Master of Urban Design from Washington University-St. Louis, and a Bachelor of Landscape Architecture from Ball State University. She has been published in national and international journals, recently in ITE Journal for her firm’s work in Ferguson, MO.
Focusing on a distinctive collaboration of landscape architecture, architecture, and infrastructure in the urban environment, Bonnie’s interests fundamentally lie in bringing economically and environmentally responsible design solutions to projects of all scales. Her leadership of multi-disciplinary teams drives an internal process rich with data, benchmarking, and both pre- and post-occupancy evaluations. Her passion for large-scale regional impacts is evident in her design and planning approach, whether through her process of engaging public stakeholder groups, analysis of existing conditions, or iterations of design concepts.
Bonnie is an advocate for her industry and leader in professional and philanthropic organizations. She currently serves as Chair of the ULI St. Louis Women’s Leadership Initiative, Vice President of her local P.E.O. International Chapter (a philanthropic educational organization supporting women in education), and an active member of the American Planning Association and American Society of Landscape Architects.
